IT Technician

We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to join our team in Barstow, California. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in providing technical support and resolving IT-related issues for end-users. Responsibilities:
• Provide timely and detail-oriented technical support for end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.
• Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory accounts, ensuring smooth user access and permissions.
• Diagnose and resolve problems related to Microsoft Windows 10 and other operating systems.
• Handle service desk tickets efficiently, maintaining accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless IT operations and support.
• Install, configure, and update software applications as required.
• Maintain and monitor IT systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Assist with user training and guidance on IT systems and tools.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
• Proficiency in Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and related systems.
• Experience in basic troubleshooting techniques for hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and processes.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft applications and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective user support.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
