IT Support Specialist

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team in Willmar, Minnesota. In this role, you will provide essential technical assistance to end users, ensuring smooth operations across various systems and platforms. This position is ideal for early-career IT professionals eager to expand their skills in troubleshooting, documentation, and system support.

Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to support requests by managing the IT ticketing system and prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 technical issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, printers, and business applications.
• Handle user account setups, password resets, and access management to ensure seamless operations.
• Configure and deploy workstations, peripherals, and audiovisual equipment for end users.
• Address user access and printing issues within enterprise systems, such as Sage X3.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, including standard operating procedures and a knowledge base.
• Monitor and maintain IT assets, support patching and security updates, and coordinate equipment repairs with vendors.
• Communicate effectively with end users, delivering clear and empathetic assistance to resolve technical challenges.

• At least 1 year of experience in Help Desk or Desktop Support, or equivalent certifications/training.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and working with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP configurations and Wi-Fi connectivity.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to create detailed technical documentation and maintain organized records.

• Associate’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Fundamentals are a plus.

• Experience with enterprise tools like Sage X3, Windows Server, or Intune is advantageous.
