IT Generalist

We are looking for an experienced IT Generalist to join our team in Itasca, Illinois. This contract-to-permanent position requires a versatile and detail-oriented individual skilled in security, network engineering, and IT solutions. The role involves managing a range of technologies, collaborating with vendors, and delivering exceptional service to end users, including executives.Responsibilities:• Manage and oversee IT operations, including network design, security measures, and system integrations for both cloud and on-premises environments.• Coordinate with external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure effective monitoring and support services.• Provide hands-on assistance to executives requiring specialized IT support, including servicing MacBook Pros and other devices.• Implement security protocols to safeguard company data, ensuring robust backup, recovery, and privacy practices.• Administer contracts and agreements for IT services, systems, software, and infrastructure.• Support users across multiple operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS, ensuring seamless functionality.• Handle equipment and software inventory, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely updates.• Deliver technical expertise in managing SaaS, IoT, and IaaS solutions.• Collaborate on projects involving Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and hybrid M365 environments.• Monitor, configure, and optimize network infrastructure devices and cabling to ensure reliable connectivity.
