Key Responsibilities
- Lead all inventory control activities, including monthly physical inventories, daily cycle counts, and periodic quarterly and annual counts.
- Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee inventory flow across production, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring accurate transactions through all business functions.
- Support integration and utilization of ERP and WMS tools, including ongoing implementation of the WMS module
- Maintain lot traceability and batch tracking in support of FDA regulations and audits
- Monitor and manage approximately 75,000 sq. ft. of inventory, representing roughly 400 SKUs and multimillion-dollar value.
- Partner closely with purchasing, operations, quality, and finance teams to ensure material availability, reporting accuracy, and proper financial reconciliation.
- Develop and refine inventory-related processes, SOPs, and efficiency improvements to support scalability.
- Prepare regular reports and insights using advanced Excel functions, including pivots, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and related analytical tools.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in inventory control or materials management, ideally within a CPG or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with Deacom and WMS modules is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of lot control, batch tracking, and traceability within regulated industries.
- High proficiency in Excel, including use of advanced formulas and data analysis tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operational environment with shifting priorities and nonstandard work hours.
- Experience conducting or leading physical inventory events and cycle count programs.
- Strong analytical mindset paired with a willingness to work directly on the warehouse floor when needed.
- Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
