Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee stock management tasks at several business units. Activities include ongoing evaluation of item quantities, checking and correcting record accuracy, and resolving any counting irregularities.
- Conduct scheduled reviews and analyses comparing the point-of-sale solution to data in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool for both inventory and expense reporting; use findings to highlight performance patterns and opportunities for enhancement.
- Maintain frequent and clear coordination with team members across various departments, focusing on shaping and updating control processes to deliver reliable metrics and prevent product shrinkage.
- Finalize all financial activities required for accurate monthly reporting, including preparing general ledger movements, reconciling relevant accounts, and expediting the delivery of results for inventory and related cost accounts.
- Participate in examination processes from both internal teams and external auditors, particularly in sections related to the inventory cycle and associated accounts.
- Serve as a contact point for information relating to inventory and expense data, ensuring timely updates to leaders and project stakeholders.
- Respond to stock-related queries submitted by field teams, including communication through request tracking platforms.
- Develop and standardize documentation for operating routines connected with inventory control and expense calculations.
- Generate scheduled and on-demand reports. Create specialized data queries for operational needs.
- Regularly check store characteristic details across all unit locations to keep critical data current and valid.
- Administer processes related to supplier rebate arrangements.
- Partner with sourcing/procurement staff to align item and pricing records between different data management systems.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- A university-level credential.
- Prior expertise working with core business data in ERP environments (experience with Workday considered a plus).
- At least three years working with advanced data management tasks.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and strong commitment to data quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capacity.
- Track record of managing multiple concurrent responsibilities in an organized and efficient manner.
- Proficiency with major personal computing software; advanced knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and data query tools; willingness to gain expertise in specific applications as needed.
