Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? Our client, a respected organization in Lexington, Kentucky, is seeking an Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting essential accounting operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with monthly close processes and financial reporting.
• Set up customer accounts, payroll allocation, and manage job closures.
• Prepare financial reports, including aging schedules and WIP summaries.
• Process invoices and assist with credit card reconciliations.
• Respond to audit requests with accurate documentation.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
• Take on additional accounting and administrative responsibilities as needed.

• Solid foundation in accounting principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with general accounting systems.
• Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Spectrum or similar platforms.
• CPA certification or eligibility is a plus.
