Information Technology Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Information Technology Operations Manager to lead and oversee technology initiatives in New Haven/Hamden, Connecticut. This position involves managing the organization's IT infrastructure, supervising the technology team, and ensuring the seamless integration of technology into academic and operational processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a passion for supporting educational environments.

You will be responsible for providing strategy for the technology department as well as maintaining their security posture. This role wears multiple hats, including being the escalation point for team. You will be working with different department heads to facilitate any IT needs. Budgets and project plans will fall under your responsibility as well.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; a Master's degree or advanced certification is preferred.

• Experience managing and mentoring an infrastructure team.

• Experience creating budgets and project plans.

• Strong background with MACs, Windows, and servers.

• Proficiency with different ERPs and CRMs

• Knowledge of Active Directory, backup technologies, SQL queries, and network troubleshooting.
