Salary: $80,000–$100,000/year 15% bonus
Location: Remote -1 day a month in office- person needs to be within a 55 miles radius of Wilmington, DE
A growing Fortune 500 organization is seeking a proactive Indirect Tax Analyst to join its team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, review and analyze indirect tax filing transactions, support indirect tax audits, monitor regulatory changes, prepare tax provision calculations, contribute to process improvements, and assist with financial statement preparation. The position requires strong abilities in reconciling tax accounts, managing compliance activities, addressing tax inquiries, and analyzing tax withholdings.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate indirect tax audits
- Review financial tax implications
- Implement updates to tax strategy
- Analyze historical tax data
- Support international tax reporting
- Prepare sales/use tax reclassification journal entries
- Maintain internal account records
- Prepare basic balance sheet schedules
- Assist with tax provision calculations
- Generate ERP-based tax reports
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–3 years of indirect tax compliance experience
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Experience with NetSuite, Workday, or Avalara (or similar ERP systems)
- Strong communication skills
