Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This role will manage core HR functions, ensure compliance with employment laws, and assist with additional administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and comfortable handling a mix of HR and operational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee HR processes including onboarding, PTO tracking, and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA and termination procedures
- Maintain accurate employee records and support HR audits
- Process payroll using Paychex and handle related reporting
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and benefits
- Assist with workers’ compensation and insurance-related tasks
- Input invoices and support AP/AR functions as needed
- Collaborate with leadership to maintain HR compliance and resolve issues
- Support additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment laws
- Experience with payroll processing (Paychex preferred)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SCRAP IT experience a plus)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and taking on varied responsibilities
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
