HR Generalist

We are looking for a bilingual HR Generalist to join our team in Itasca, Illinois. This contract-to-hire role focuses on providing comprehensive support in employee relations, ensuring smooth communication and addressing day-to-day HR inquiries. The ideal candidate will have experience with shift adjustments and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to employees regarding company policies, attendance, and other HR-related inquiries.

• Support employee relations efforts, including addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.

• Assist with the transition and onboarding process for employees moving to the 2nd shift.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication across shifts.

• Utilize HR systems, such as Paylocity (can train on the software), to manage employee data and resolve login issues.

• Maintain compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.

• Offer assistance with benefit-related functions as needed.

• Communicate effectively with employees and management to resolve issues and provide clarity.

• Support HR initiatives and projects to improve processes and employee satisfaction.

• Address day-to-day HR tasks, ensuring smooth operations across all shifts.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential.

• Experience in employee relations, including managing workplace concerns and shift transitions.

• Familiarity with HR systems such as Paylocity or similar platforms.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and management.

• Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance standards.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Previous experience in contract roles is preferred.

• Competency in benefit-related functions and general HR support.
