We are seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join our team based in Des Moines, IA. This hybrid role where you will play a key role in analyzing financial and program data, creating insights that steer strategic decision-making, and shaping the success of energy efficiency initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
Evaluate and interpret complex financial and program data to uncover actionable insights that improve performance and efficiency.
Build and maintain financial dashboards and tracking tools to monitor metrics with clarity and precision.
Prepare comprehensive reports and engaging presentations for stakeholders, communicating financial insights that drive results.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align analytical findings with business objectives.
Contribute to financial forecasting, accounts payable processes, and overall financial planning efforts.
Support the creation of program documentation, including guidelines, manuals, and visual management tools.
Monitor program expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization or risk mitigation.
Assist in developing and implementing strategies that ensure program success and align with organizational goals.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or financial reporting.
Proficiency in SQL, BusinessObjects Technologies, and Power Platform.
Strong skills in Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Familiarity with Power BI programming and Dynamics is highly preferred.
Ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable recommendations.
Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with Power Automate is a plus.
Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
