What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Robert Half?
Cost Analysis and Reporting
Analyze costs of raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
Prepare detailed cost reports and financial summaries to support operational decisions.
Conduct variance analysis between actual expenses and budgeted costs
Budgeting and Forecasting
Collaborate with department heads to develop cost estimates and budgets.
Contribute to forecasts and project profitability analysis to assist with financial planning Inventory and Production Cost Management
Develop strategies for inventory control and standard costing.
Recommend process improvements to minimize costs and increase revenue.
Work with cross-functional teams, including operations and procurement, to streamline workflows.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
Experience:
5 years of experience in cost accounting or a related field
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP
Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
