Family Office CFO

We are looking for a highly experienced Family Office CFO to oversee the establishment and management of a family office for a high-net-worth individual. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with deep expertise in financial strategies, tax accounting, and family office operations. This is a long-term contract position based in San Francisco, California.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the setup and operational framework of a family office for a high-net-worth individual.
• Conduct thorough cash flow analysis to ensure financial stability and optimization.
• Oversee capital management strategies to maximize investment opportunities.
• Manage month-end close processes with precision and attention to detail.
• Implement and optimize business systems to support efficient financial operations.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders.
• Provide expert guidance on complex tax matters and compliance.
• Develop and maintain strategies for effective financial planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with legal and tax advisors to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Supervise financial activities to support the long-term goals of the family office.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience working with family offices, preferably with high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong background in tax accounting and compliance.
• Proficiency in cash flow analysis and capital management.
• Expertise in month-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Familiarity with business systems implementation and optimization.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Demonstrated experience in handling complex tax scenarios.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse financial tasks.
