eLearning Content Developer
We are seeking a Digital Learning Content Developer to design, produce, and deliver engaging digital learning experiences across an FDA-regulated distributed organization. This is a highly visible role responsible for transforming complex subject matter into clear, concise, and impactful learning assets that support field readiness, operational excellence, and a strong learner experience.
The ideal candidate combines creativity with structure—bringing strong instructional design fundamentals, multimedia production skills, and the ability to manage learning content within a structured, compliance-conscious environment (medical device, laboratory, pharmaceutical experience preferred). This role partners closely with training leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to build a modern, scalable digital learning ecosystem.
Digital Content Creation & Production
- Design and develop short-form, high-impact learning modules that support rapid skill development across multiple functional teams
- Produce microlearning videos, quick-reference content, and enhanced slide-based materials that translate complex concepts into actionable instruction
- Create engaging quizzes, knowledge checks, and interactive assessments to reinforce comprehension and measure effectiveness
- Serve as an on-camera presenter for instructional videos and demonstrations, maintaining clarity, energy, and strong communication
Instructional Design & Course Development
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert learning objectives into structured, polished digital training modules
- Own the full development lifecycle including scoping, storyboarding, scripting, production, review, and launch
- Apply adult learning principles and modern instructional design best practices to all content
- Champion learner experience through strong visuals, pacing, accessibility standards, and intuitive design
Learning Platform & Content Management
- Manage daily operations of a learning management system, including publishing, updates, archiving, and quality checks
- Build and maintain learning paths, modules, assessments, and completion tracking
- Organize backend system structure including user groups, permissions, certificates, and reporting
- Analyze learning data to assess engagement, usage, and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement
- Maintain version control and content traceability across learning platforms to support audit readiness and compliance standards
Tools & Technology
- Develop and publish content using authoring and video tools such as screen-capture software, rapid eLearning platforms, and collaboration tools
- Ensure high production quality while balancing speed, clarity, and efficiency
Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment
- Partner with training, commercial, service, marketing, and operations teams to ensure learning assets support real-world performance
- Clearly communicate timelines, expectations, and deliverables to stakeholders
- Incorporate empathy, accessibility, and learner-centered storytelling to maximize adoption and impact
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Multimedia, or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience developing digital learning or multimedia training content
- Proficiency with Camtasia, Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise)
- Strong command of common productivity and presentation software
- Experience managing content within a FDA regulated or structured environment
- Comfort presenting on camera and translating technical subject matter for diverse audiences
- Portfolio or work samples highly preferred.
