Donor Relations Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Donor Relations Assistant to join our non-profit organization in Greenwich, Connecticut. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing donor data, supporting fundraising initiatives, and assisting with special events. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at wearing multiple hats.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update donor records using Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process incoming checks and reconcile fundraising contributions within the database.
• Perform mail merges and generate donor communications using Blackbaud tools.
• Provide light data analysis and reporting using Excel to support fundraising operations.
• Assist with planning and execution of special events to engage donors and community members.
• Support rental attendance logistics and ensure smooth coordination during events.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Uphold excellent customer service standards when interacting with donors and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge for database management and data entry.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in managing financial reconciliations.
• Experience in event coordination or assisting with special events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
