Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract position, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end-users across office and manufacturing environments. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize IT systems while contributing to operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, network systems, telecom equipment, video conferencing tools, VoIP systems, and mobility devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain personal computer hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality.
• Manage IT incident queues, effectively resolving Level I and Level II technical issues.
• Identify, evaluate, and validate new hardware and software solutions to improve cost-efficiency and operational performance.
• Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to install, configure, monitor, support, and optimize IT systems.
• Maintain and support Windows Active Directory domains, including user logins, permissions, Group Policies, and network printing in compliance with corporate policies.
• Develop and update documentation for the company’s Knowledge Base, ensuring clear communication for both end-users and IT staff.
• Perform on-site and remote desktop support services to address end-user needs.
• Collaborate with the Field Operations Team and provide work direction as needed.
• Ensure the security and availability of IT systems while adhering to organizational policies.
• Minimum of four years of experience in IT operations and customer support.
• Strong expertise in desktop, laptop, and mobility hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Proficiency in managing Active Directory, including Organizational Units and Group Policies.
• Operational knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Familiarity with networking principles and IT infrastructure.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals across departments.
• Proven experience in root cause analysis and implementing solutions to mitigate recurring issues.
• Strong documentation skills for creating and maintaining technical resources.
