What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Analyst position at Mira Tech?
Position Purpose
This position serves as a Support Analyst responsible for providing technical support across SCCM, AirWatch, VDI, and Inmate environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software support escalations, working closely with IT support staff and end users.
- Provide technical instruction and guidance on support processes and problem resolution.
- Assist with SCCM deployments, application packaging, and other SCCM-related tasks.
- Maintain Operating System Deployment (OSD) task sequences and associated packages.
- Support the AirWatch console environment, including asset and object management.
- Provide daily support for VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), including session support and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Support specialized environments through general troubleshooting, image testing, and customizations.
- Review and recommend hardware and software purchases, system integration, and installation requirements.
- Work with users to determine business needs and define appropriate IT requirements.
- Assess existing computer resources and perform interoperability testing across operating systems, networks, and application software to support migration to new computing environments.
- Participate in the review, evaluation, and reporting of the capabilities and limitations of industry technologies within an open systems environment.
- Analyze and support security services and directory services.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of information technology systems by testing and evaluating beta products and applications.
Minimum Requirement
- 3 years of relevant IT experience — Required.
Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
