Database Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to support marketing initiatives by analyzing data, creating dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights will be crucial to driving engagement and retention strategies within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with data scientists and marketing teams to design and execute campaigns that enhance member engagement and retention.

• Create and maintain dashboards using Tableau to visualize and analyze marketing metrics effectively.

• Translate complex member data into clear, actionable insights to inform campaign strategies.

• Evaluate data trends to identify opportunities for improvement and resolve issues proactively.

• Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaign performance and member lifetime value.

• Partner with internal teams, including product and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of data-driven solutions.

• Apply problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in marketing data and develop corrective strategies.

• Utilize marketing knowledge to assess the accuracy of data and improve overall campaign effectiveness.

• Manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or database management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Queries, and database objects.
• Strong expertise in Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on analyzing marketing-related datasets.
• Solid understanding of A/B testing and experimental design.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
• Exposure to marketing concepts and the ability to apply a marketing mindset to data interpretation.
• Familiarity with high-volume member databases and AI tools for messaging or automation is a plus.
