Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join a team in Ormond Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in maintaining accurate data, supporting audits, and contributing to organizational efficiency. This position requires proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Workday, along with a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Input and maintain accurate data within Workday and other systems as needed.

• Support audit processes by providing organized and accurate data.

• Apply accounting knowledge to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including formulas, to analyze and process data.

• Organize and manage files in alignment with established structures.

• Ensure timely and efficient completion of data entry tasks.

• Collaborate with team members to improve data management workflows.

• Verify the accuracy of entered data and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Generate reports and summaries based on data entry activities.

• Proven experience in data entry roles, preferably with exposure to Workday.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and advanced functions.

• Basic understanding of accounting concepts and principles.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data processing.

• Effective organizational skills for managing files and records.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong typing speed and accuracy.

• Familiarity with audit processes and requirements.
