Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed cost analysis by processing and interpreting large datasets.
• Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Apply advanced Excel functionalities, such as pivot tables and conditional formatting, to analyze and reconcile cost-related data.
• Identify trends, discrepancies, and anomalies in data, providing recommendations to address issues.
• Develop and present clear, concise reports summarizing findings to management.
• Ensure high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all data tracking and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to support informed business decisions.
• Proven experience in roles such as Data Analyst, Financial Analyst, or Cost Analyst.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in pivot tables, formulas, and data validation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and reconcile numerical data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify inconsistencies quickly.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be available to work onsite in Los Angeles, California.
• Immediate availability is required for this contract position.
