We are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to lead our credit and collections operations in Des Moines, Iowa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, leadership, and risk management.Responsibilities:• Lead and manage a team of credit and collections professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including monitoring aging reports and ensuring timely collection efforts.• Analyze customer financial data, credit histories, and payment trends to assess creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits.• Develop and enforce credit policies and procedures to mitigate risk and optimize cash flow.• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to address billing discrepancies and maintain strong client relationships.• Prepare detailed reports and metrics on credit risk, collections performance, and accounts receivable status for senior management.• Identify and implement process improvements and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.• Approve or recommend credit terms for new and existing customers, ensuring compliance with company policies.• Coordinate with external collection agencies to recover overdue accounts when necessary.
