Credit Clerk

We are looking for a dedicated Credit Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented and has strong experience in credit and collections, particularly within the commercial sector. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage credit applications and approvals efficiently.

Responsibilities:
• Process and review credit applications with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Manage commercial collections, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding balances.
• Evaluate and approve credit requests based on company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of credit transactions and collections activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address credit-related concerns and facilitate smooth operations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with credit approvals and collections.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures and regulatory standards in all credit-related tasks.
• Communicate with clients to address payment issues and maintain positive relationships.
• Prepare reports and summaries related to credit and collections for management review.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency in credit and collections workflows.
• Proven experience in credit and commercial collections.
• Familiarity with handling credit applications and approvals.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate credit risks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for credit and collections.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to credit and collections.
