Creative Director

Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of our client for an exciting Creative Director opportunity. This role will put you at the forefront of redefining creative expression in entertainment marketing. You’ll lead the transformation of how ideas are conceived, created, and delivered—empowering teams to push boundaries and explore new possibilities at the intersection of human creativity and emerging technologies. This position offers the chance to pioneer innovative approaches to storytelling, scale creative vision in unprecedented ways, and inspire teams to think beyond traditional constraints.

Location: Culver City, CA (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension

Hours: 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $80–85/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the future of creative technology by combining human ingenuity with advanced tools.
• Lead exploration and adoption of emerging technologies that elevate storytelling capabilities.
• Build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the art of the possible and bring them to life.
• Champion a culture of experimentation, creative risk-taking, and innovation.
• Partner with design, writing, and production teams to identify opportunities for technology-driven creative expression.
• Guide the development of next-generation creative workflows and tools.
• Foster an environment where creativity and technology seamlessly intersect.
• Mentor teams to adopt new creative practices while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Provide hands-on expertise with creative software, design tools, and AI applications.
• Lead evaluation and integration of emerging creative technologies.
• Establish frameworks to ensure ethical and responsible use of technology in creative processes.
• Build scalable, flexible solutions that enhance creative freedom rather than restrict it.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 8 years driving compelling creative strategy and execution within an agency or in-house creative team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Digital Design, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven track record of leading innovative creative and technology-driven initiatives.
• Strong online portfolio demonstrating creative leadership and innovation (required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading creative development from concept through delivery.
• Background managing internal creative teams as well as external agencies and freelancers.
• Skilled at presenting and pitching creative concepts to senior leadership.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with fast-paced deadlines.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Cinema 4D, and/or Gen AI tools.
