We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to oversee and manage all financial operations for our construction company. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, experience with ERP implementation in a construction environment, and a proven ability to lead a finance team to success. This role will play a pivotal part in driving our financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and improving financial systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems tailored for the construction industry (experience with specific construction ERP systems such as Viewpoint, Procore, or Sage 300 is a plus).
- Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial operations.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely reporting.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive financial strategy, identify areas for cost savings, and support strategic decision-making.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance.
- Assist in managing cash flow, forecasting, and managing working capital.
Required Qualifications:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a corporate controller or similar senior financial role.
- Strong experience with ERP systems, ideally in the construction industry (ERP implementation experience is a major plus).
Salary : $140,000 - $170,000
