Controller

We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. This role requires a dedicated individual with expertise in financial management and reporting to support operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days onsite weekly and collaboration with a talented finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage monthly financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.

• Lead all aspects of financial reporting, including consolidated packages and quarterly audits.

• Collaborate with the Group Controlling team to address related party transactions and quarterly reporting requirements.

• Ensure compliance with established financial controls and regulatory standards.

• Support tax-related activities, coordinating with external consultants as necessary.

• Provide guidance and oversight to the accounting team, including senior analysts and general ledger accountants.

• Monitor manufacturing cost accounting processes to optimize efficiency and profitability.

• Utilize SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business One systems for financial operations and reporting.

• Assist in preparing workpapers and documentation for audits and reviews.

• Serve as the key liaison between the finance team and IT support for system integrations and upgrades.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or controllership roles.

• Proficiency in auditing practices and month-end close procedures.

• Strong expertise in financial reporting and manufacturing cost accounting.

• Demonstrated ability to manage consolidated financial reports and quarterly audits.

• Effective leadership skills to guide and support accounting teams.

• Familiarity with compliance standards and financial controls.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to handle complex workflows.
