Business Development Officer

We are looking for a motivated Sales/Recruiting Manager to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role requires a dynamic individual with expertise in finance or accounting and a passion for driving business growth. You will play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance business growth.

• Utilize your finance and accounting knowledge to make informed decisions and drive business development initiatives.

• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for strategic growth.

• Collaborate with internal teams to align business goals and ensure successful implementation of plans.

• Apply expertise in cold calling and outreach to connect with potential clients and generate leads.

• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to assess success and recommend improvements.

• Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities to expand the client base.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, preferably in finance or accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in public or industry accounting, finance, or permanent placement recruiting.
• Proven track record of success in business development and achieving targets.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in identifying and leveraging business opportunities.
• Experience with cold calling and outreach methods to build relationships.
