Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Westlake, Ohio. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in QuickBooks and a passion for organization and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are aligned with bank statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain and update financial data, ensuring all information is current and precise.
• Prepare and maintain detailed financial records, including ledgers and reports.
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
• Ensure all financial documentation is properly organized and stored for easy access and audit purposes.
• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and information.
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
