Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our business. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling bank statements, processing payroll, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Issue invoices and follow up on overdue accounts
- Prepare financial data for audits and tax filings
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
- Handle payroll processing and related reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Support the accountant or CPA with end-of-year processes
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
- Proficiency in payroll software
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and GAAP
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Comfortable working in a small business or fast-paced environment
- Experience with billboard industry and billboard software is a plus
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
