Billing Clerk

We are looking for a dedicated Billing Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoicing and payment tracking to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and distribute invoices for services rendered, ensuring precision and adherence to company policies.

• Monitor incoming payments and update customer accounts to reflect accurate billing records.

• Address customer inquiries regarding billing issues, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely payment reminders.

• Maintain organized financial documentation, including invoices, payment histories, and customer profiles.

• Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to streamline billing processes and address concerns.

• Process credit memos and adjustments to ensure accurate account balances.

• Utilize computerized billing systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with billing regulations and company standards.

• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support bilingual customer needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or a related role.
• Proficiency in billing functions, including invoice preparation and payment tracking.
• Strong understanding of computerized billing systems and processes.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve billing inquiries professionally.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage financial records accurately.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with billing compliance and regulations.
