Robert Half Management Resources is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to support our gaming client through open enrollment on a 5 month remote engagement. The Benefits Analysts will report directly to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits. The ideal candidate will specialize in administering and managing the US and Canada employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and addressing employee inquiries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Benefits Analyst to leverage their expertise in benefit program management for dynamic and rewarding engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and oversee daily operations of employee benefits plans, including health insurance, wellness initiatives, and other programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as HR and legal, as well as external vendors, to ensure seamless benefits plan administration.
• Analyze benefits data and trends to evaluate program effectiveness, testing accurate elections and reconciling billing with IT and vendors.
• Conduct audits and reconcile reports related to benefit plan expenditures and employee enrollments.
• Assist in developing and communicating updates or changes to employee benefit programs across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with regulations governing employee benefits in the U.S. and Canada.
• Participate in open enrollment processes, addressing employee inquiries and supporting system-related tasks.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of benefits programs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee benefits.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Maintain Leave of Absence records
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in benefits administration and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in benefits administration platforms, particularly Workday.
• Thorough understanding of benefits regulations and compliance standards.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups, as well as Google Sheets.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with international benefits practices, particularly in Canada, is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate across teams.
• Experience with managing full-cycle leave of absence process
