AVP Derivatives Trade Support - Asset Management

Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for an AVP Derivatives Trade Support role for an asset manager located in midtown Manhattan. Our client requires 3 years of Derivatives Operations / Trade Support / Middle Office experience at an Investment Bank or Asset Management firm. OTC and Listed Derivative Regulatory knowledge such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR or ISDA is advantageous. This role is hybrid remote requiring 3 days per week in the midtown Manhattan office.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operational support on OTC and Listed derivative for various trading desks including Rates, Credit, Treasury, Securities, etc.
• Co-ordinating internally and externally to ensure Electronic and Paper trade confirmations are executed in a timely manner
• Oversee the regulatory reporting of derivatives across different jurisdictions
• Monitoring of daily listed trading activity across all Futures Clearing Merchants
• Provide insight of trading activity through reports and ad-hoc analysis of data
• Collaborate and build relationships with our colleagues from different teams to solve issues and provide better solutions for our group
• Involvement in new or ongoing projects driven by Asset Management
• Collaborate with Technology to develop and improve our consumption and representation of big data
• Challenge the status quo and drive meaningful change and improvements to our processes and controls

Requirements:

• 3 years of Derivatives Operations/Trade Support/Middle Office experience at an Investment Bank or Asset Management firm
• OTC and Listed Derivative Regulatory knowledge such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR or ISDA is advantageous
• Experience with derivative booking systems, as well as Markitwire, Markit Trade Manager (MTM), TradeSuite is advantageous
• Knowledge of Aladdin & APEX is advantageous
• Bachelor Degree
