Assistant Controller

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team in Randleman, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, provide strategic analysis, and ensure accurate reporting to support business objectives. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

• Develop financial forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.

• Post daily cash transactions and manage accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy.

• Maintain computer network systems and resolve technical issues as needed.

• Handle HR tasks such as onboarding new employees and addressing questions about 401k plans and insurance.

• Process payroll for hourly, salaried, and commission-based employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Utilize financial software to generate detailed reports and manage accounting functions.

• Perform daily banking operations, including deposits and reconciliations.

• Collaborate with leadership and external partners to provide timely financial updates and insights.

• Implement budgeting strategies and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

• Proven experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including 3M and ADP.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
• Familiarity with CRM tools and reporting platforms like Crystal Reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with management.
• Experience in auditing and budget management.
• Capacity to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
