Applications Architect

We are looking for an experienced Applications Architect to join our team in De Pere, Wisconsin. This is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in Android development and application architecture. The role offers a dynamic environment where you’ll contribute to designing innovative solutions for the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of Android applications using Kotlin, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of app development, from concept through deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and implement application architecture strategies to optimize performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
• Utilize AWS technologies to support cloud-based infrastructure and services.
• Review and refine existing applications, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to developers at the entry level.
• Analyze and troubleshoot application issues, delivering timely resolutions.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards and reliability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to enhance development processes.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application architecture and Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Android platform technologies.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET and .NET frameworks.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies and cloud-based solutions.
• Proven track record of managing full app lifecycle and owning app projects.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in De Pere, Wisconsin.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
