AP/AR Specialist

We are looking for a skilled AP/AR Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable operations with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively to ensure smooth financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

• Update and maintain financial records, ensuring all ledger entries are correctly documented.

• Oversee billing procedures and ensure all invoices are properly filed and tracked.

• Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

• Utilize Yardi Property Management software to efficiently manage financial data.

• Address payment-related inquiries and work to resolve discrepancies with vendors and clients.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies in all financial operations.

• Support audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

• Communicate professionally with vendors and clients to handle billing and payment concerns.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and processes for increased efficiency.

• Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Proficiency in handling cash transactions and posting payments accurately.
• Strong knowledge of maintaining and updating account records.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct and Yardi Property Management software.
• Ability to analyze and resolve payment discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and team members.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards.
