We are looking for experienced and dedicated Affordable Housing Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role focuses on supporting our housing association by delivering exceptional service to our client population. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, you will play a key role in addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring seamless communication with callers. Free Parking onsite!
Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to incoming calls, providing accurate information and resolving client inquiries effectively.
• Deliver first-call resolution by addressing concerns and offering solutions during initial contact.
• Follow up on unresolved issues to ensure client satisfaction and timely resolution.
• Handle inquiries through virtual communication channels, including email and online platforms.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, ensuring data is properly documented and stored.
• Utilize CRM software to track and manage customer engagements efficiently.
• Process billing and claims administration tasks accurately and in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve operational processes.
• Support benefit-related functions by addressing eligibility and processing requests.
• Leverage enterprise software tools such as ERP and Epic to streamline workflows.
• Proven experience in customer service roles, preferably serving diverse client populations within in the affordable housing industry.
• Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems and enterprise software like Yardi and/or OneSite and MS Office Suite
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
• Familiarity with data processing and record-keeping practices.
• Ability to manage billing functions and claims administration tasks with accuracy.
• Adept at using computer programs relevant to customer service and administrative workflows.
• Experience in handling inbound calls and providing virtual support.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address client concerns effectively.
