Accounts Receivable Specialist

Robert Half has a new direct-hire opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage and oversee essential financial processes related to accounts receivable and cash receipts. This role requires someone with strong attention to detail who can ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized records while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities:

• Process daily accounts receivable deposits by scanning and remotely depositing funds.

• Accurately input and code customer payments into the system on a daily basis.

• Track and reconcile daily cash receipts, including accounts receivable and cash on delivery, ensuring all funds are accounted for by location.

• Apply and reconcile customer payments to ensure accurate financial records.

• Prepare detailed account analyses and maintain thorough documentation as required.

• Address customer payment inquiries promptly and resolve discrepancies with professionalism.

• Assisting with collections related activities as needed.

• Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including cash applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile financial discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to address customer inquiries and coordinate with internal teams.
• Familiarity with financial systems and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
