Accounts Receivable Lead

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Lead to oversee billing, collections, and customer account management while partnering closely with internal teams and clients. In this role, you will manage invoicing, customer deposits, and financial recordkeeping to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely cash flow. Key Responsibilities

• Generate, issue, and track invoices for a variety of products and services, including custom solutions and recurring agreements.
• Oversee timely collection of payments and customer deposits to ensure consistent funding for active projects.
• Manage financial operations for complex and specialized orders, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and internal controls.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for global clients, addressing billing inquiries and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate AR records, including aging schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for audits and leadership reporting.
• Analyze workflows to identify process gaps and implement strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams—including sales, operations, and finance—to integrate AR processes into broader business initiatives.
• Leverage accounting systems and reporting tools to manage tasks effectively, optimize data accuracy, and support continuous improvement.
  

• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and handling deposits.
• Proven ability to manage complex or custom orders; experience in manufacturing or hardware/software industries is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and directly with global customers.
• Proficiency in accounting systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms, along with advanced Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of billing functions, cash collections, and cash applications processes.
