Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. This position is a contract role with the potential for long-term employment, offering the chance to contribute to crucial financial operations while growing professionally. The ideal candidate will excel in managing receivables, handling collections, and ensuring accurate cash application processes.

Responsibilities:
• Process and monitor accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely and accurate billing.
• Handle commercial collections by engaging with clients to resolve outstanding balances.
• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts while maintaining detailed records.
• Track inventory and prepare corresponding reports to support financial analysis.
• Manage consumer-to-business (C2B) transactions with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of cash collections and reconcile discrepancies.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to address payment-related inquiries.
• Assist in identifying trends and opportunities to improve the accounts receivable process.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable operations, including billing and collections.
• Familiarity with cash applications and reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and consumer-to-business transactions.
• Ability to prepare and analyze inventory tracking and reporting.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate financial records and resolving discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
