We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Boerne, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing invoicing, payment application, and collections processes while maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills and proven experience in accounts receivable functions to help ensure smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and issue invoices promptly to customers.
• Record payments received and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts.
• Regularly review aging reports and follow up with clients on overdue balances.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of financial transactions.
• Support the month-end closing process by preparing reports and assisting with reconciliations.
• Work closely with project managers and field staff to address and resolve billing issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to billing and account details with professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts receivable activities.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or comparable systems.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
