Position Overview
A growing, project-based professional services firm is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team due to a recent retirement. This role supports a ~$20M organization and reports directly to the Finance Manager, working closely with accounting and finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounts payable processing
- Project coding within AP
- Vendor maintenance and invoice discrepancy resolution
- Support month-end close as needed
- Use Excel for reporting and reconciliations
- Work within a large ERP environment
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Project coding experience in AP
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a large ERP (Vantage Point a plus)
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Month-end close exposure
