Accounts Payable Specialist - Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

We are hiring on behalf of our client in the manufacturing sector for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire position that requires being fully onsite at their Zionsville office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices by coordinating department manager reviews/approvals and entering approved payments into the accounts payable system.
• Manage payment workflows, ensuring adherence to terms, cash discount opportunities, and penalty avoidance.
• Maintain compliance documentation, including IRS Form W-9s and service agreements, while supporting audit requirements.
• Reconcile vendor statements, handle inquiries, and resolve aged invoice discrepancies with thorough research.
  

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in accounting or accounts payable within a fast-paced environment. This is a fully onsite role in Zionsville.
