Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable and experience with NetSuite.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable processes, including verifying and applying payments accurately.

• Process and review invoices to ensure timely and accurate transactions.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting procedures and standards.

• Provide accurate and timely reports to support decision-making processes.

• Address discrepancies and resolve issues related to payments or invoices.

• Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data.

• Proven experience in accounts payable and general accounting practices.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

• Capacity to adapt to new systems and processes.
