Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chatsworth, California. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions. You will play a vital role in ensuring precise financial operations and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and timely payments.
• Oversee accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accurate billing and collection efforts.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
• Handle billing functions, preparing and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain detailed and organized financial records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
• Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare periodic financial reports to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in managing billing functions and account reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
