Accounting Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Assistant to join our team in Foxboro, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing payroll operations, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Responsibilities:
• Input employee timesheet data into QuickBooks Online with precision to facilitate payroll processing.
• Prepare, process, and manage invoices while ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately recorded.
• Organize and maintain both physical and digital records during the transition to a shared service platform.
• Assist in pulling permits and handling additional administrative responsibilities as required.
• Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial and administrative data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and uphold data integrity.
• Support accounts payable and receivable tasks, including coding invoices and performing bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures while managing accounting functions.
• Proven experience in data entry, payroll, or administrative support roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Competence in handling paper-heavy tasks and transitioning to digital systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Effective communication abilities for collaborating with team members and resolving issues.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
