Accounting Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Miami, Florida. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts payable, billing, and reconciliations, paired with advanced proficiency in Excel and basic knowledge of accounting principles. Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee billing functions, including preparing and verifying invoices.
• Perform account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Utilize advanced Excel features, such as pivot tables and formulas, to streamline reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles in all financial operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Leverage SAP systems to optimize accounting functions and processes.
• Support financial reporting and analysis tasks as needed.
• Apply industry knowledge from construction or renewable energy environments to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in maintaining organized and accurate documentation for audits and reviews.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounts payable.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.

• Familiarity with SAP systems is strongly preferred.

• Previous experience in a construction or project-oriented environment is a plus.

• Knowledge of renewable energy sector practices is an asset.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
