Accountant

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Enon NT, Ohio. This is a contract-to-permanent position within the dynamic oil and gas field services industry. The ideal candidate will contribute to financial accuracy and efficiency through meticulous reporting and reconciliation processes.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are properly recorded.
• Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes efficiently.
• Prepare detailed financial reports to support business operations.
• Create and post journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between records and transactions.
• Assist with year-end financial activities, including audits and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial workflows.
• Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.
• Expertise in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Familiarity with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Proficiency in preparing comprehensive financial reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Solid communication skills for effective collaboration with teams.
