Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP B1 Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lewis Center, Ohio. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to optimize system performance and align technology solutions with business processes. Your focus will be on enhancing operational efficiency, integrating systems, and providing actionable recommendations to drive success.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate current processes to identify technology gaps and inefficiencies in workflows.
Provide expert recommendations for optimizing SAP Business One to align with production and revenue goals.
Assess and integrate 'home-grown' systems with SAP Business One for seamless functionality.
Address challenges related to disparate data sources and propose solutions for unified data management.
Enhance the use of SAP Business One Sales Module to improve tracking and work-in-progress metrics.
Analyze the Order to Cash module and determine its effectiveness for business needs without requiring a full warehouse management system.
Review team structure and skills, offering recommendations for organizational improvements and necessary skill upgrades.
Document business processes and system configurations to ensure clarity and consistency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements.
Provide insights and strategies to optimize system usage without recommending major system overhauls.
Requirements
Extensive experience with SAP Business One, particularly in manufacturing environments.
Proven ability to integrate third-party or custom-built systems into SAP Business One.
Strong background in technical business analysis, including process evaluation and system recommendations.
Proficiency in documenting business requirements and system configurations.
Familiarity with work-in-progress (WIP) tracking and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Ability to operate effectively in dynamic, resourceful environments.
Demonstrated success in optimizing SAP Business One to reflect production and business processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
