We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team on a contract with the potential for a permanent position in Edison, New Jersey. This hybrid role requires working on-site two days a week, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement AI-driven solutions. Ideal candidates will have expertise in data strategy, AI technologies, and tools such as Databricks and Informatica.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement AI-driven use cases that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Design and optimize data strategies using platforms like Databricks and Informatica.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and business stakeholders, to create scalable AI/ML solutions.
Evaluate and enhance data pipelines to ensure efficient deployment of AI models.
Stay informed on the latest AI advancements and recommend innovative approaches to improve business operations.
Provide guidance on data governance, ensuring adherence to best practices for data quality and security.
Analyze business challenges and translate them into actionable AI solutions that drive results.
Support the integration of advanced analytics frameworks into existing systems and processes.
Requirements
Proven experience in developing AI/ML solutions and data strategies.
Proficiency in Databricks and Informatica platforms.
Strong knowledge of AI frameworks, data architecture, and analytics tools.
Expertise in programming languages such as Python and frameworks like Apache Spark.
Familiarity with ETL processes, including Extract, Transform, and Load operations.
Ability to work with big data technologies such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Kafka.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
