Responsibilities:
- Calculate and update cost records to ensure accurate pricing data.
- Maintain and manage computerized standard cost systems effectively.
- Process job requirements for new manufacturing projects.
- Conduct analysis and calculations for special costing initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation of annual inventory calculations.
- Create and manage Bills of Materials for both existing and new projects.
- Process manufacturing and engineering changes, including Orange Cards, Foundry Cards, and time studies.
- Evaluate costs associated with first production runs for new jobs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address pricing inquiries.
- Support recordkeeping for patterns, tools, and authorizations while completing assigned projects.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in cost accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in standard cost accounting practices within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong skills in cost analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with maintaining and updating cost systems.
- Ability to work accurately with detailed records and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external customers.
- Experience with Bills of Materials and production cost analysis.
- High level of organization and attention to detail to manage multiple responsibilities.
