Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial operations of three small companies, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial balances and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including timely invoice payments and vendor communications.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as invoicing and following up on overdue accounts.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries and ensuring financial data integrity.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing financial statements and reports.
- Utilize accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with management to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations and managing general ledger transactions.
- Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.
- Ability to complete month-end close processes and prepare financial reports.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
